Don’t miss any of the action at Cameron’s annual Steak, Stein, and Wine Festival. There are activities and entertainment for all ages throughout the day in the Historic Downtown Square along with plenty of steaks, snacks, craft beer, and wine.
Steak, Stein, and Wine Run

Adults are invited to compete in the Steak, Stein, and Wine 5K Race while youth are encouraged to participate in the 1K Youth Fun Run. Registration for adults is $25 and includes a t-shirt, steak breakfast taco, and a cold beer after the run. Youth registration is $20 and includes a t-shirt, steak breakfast taco, and a root beer after the run. Medals will be awarded to winners in both divisions. You may register online or in person the day of the race. All registrants must be at the Oak Hill Cemetery Parking Lot by 8:45 AM on Saturday morning.
Downtown Street Fair

Historic Downtown Square
Beginning at 10:00 AM, Cameron’s Historic Downtown Square will be bustling with shopping, activities, and entertainment. Peruse Arts & Crafts vendors and a Farmer’s Market on the square and stop into see popular shops like The Bling Box and 1st Street Aesthetics & Massage near the square. If you work up an appetite as you explore downtown Cameron, take a break to enjoy bites from many local food vendors including Hot Corner, Hecho en Texas, Charrd, and more.
Wine Tent

Sample wine tastings or order a glass of your favorite blend from local Texas wineries: En Gedi Vineyards, Axis Winery, Kissing Tree Vineyards. Glasses and bottles will be available for purchase with cash or credit card. During this event only, you may carry glasses of wine with you anywhere within the Historic Downtown Square. No glass containers allowed outside on the square.

Beat the Texas heat with an ice cold brew from local Texas breweries. During this event only, you may carry beer with you anywhere within the Historic Downtown Square. No glass containers allowed outside on the square.

We know you don’t want to miss the big game while you’re at The Steak, Stein, and Wine Festival. Take a break to relax in the Sports Bar at the former Mercantile Bistro on the square. We’ll have several TVs streaming the can’t miss games throughout the day and you’re welcome to bring a cold one from the Beer Tent.
Aggieland Safari Petting Zoo

Aggieland Safari is bringing their zoo right to downtown Cameron. Bring your little one by to pet many types of exotic animals including kangaroos, mini pigs, mini goats, giant tortoises, baby marmosets, mini horses, snakes, and more. Admission is free.

The Milam County Museum will be home to three beautiful exhibits. Admire the El Camino Real de los Tejas Photo Exhibit featuring photography by Chris Talbot. Appreciate the beauty of over 200 handmade quilts on display in the Antique Quilt Show. Learn about Texas wildflowers at the Master Naturalist Wildflower Exhibit.
Model Trains + Ice Cream

Old Town Cameron Railroad Museum

Be transported back in time as you get a rare view of Cameron in the 1940s. Drive model trains around the massive 40 foot realistic model of Cameron. Meet the Junior Engineers and find out how your kid can become a Junior Engineer. While you check out the model of Cameron, enjoy some hand dipped ice cream.
Steak Flight Tasting

Sample various cuts of 44 Farms’ high quality beef. Award winning celebrity chef Jay Tinney of Tinney Barbecue in Austin will prepare the steaks and a member of the 44 Farms team will walk you through the flight, educating you about the different cuts and the best ways to prepare them. Tickets are $25 and include 12oz of meat. Tickets are limited - we recommend purchasing online before the event.
Local Artist Showcase

Can you sing? Can you shred? Can you "beat-box" and rap? Are you hilarious? Do you have a band? Bring your talent to the "open mic" and show us what you've got! We will have a drum kit and bass amp on stage. All ages and styles are welcome (keep it clean!), but please limit your set to 3 songs or 15 minutes. Red Watterson & A Good Excuse

You’ll love listening to this Texas band live at the Courthouse. Red Watterson, a 5th generation Texan, and his band can do it all from jazz & blues to pop & country. The core of A Good Excuse is an acoustic/electric Solo with vocals or a Duo (with Jazz Guitar Accompaniment) that is tailored for each venue & event.

Join us for a gourmet steak dinner featuring a 44 Farms ribeye prepared by celebrity chef Josh Bratton of Johnny’s Steaks & BBQ in Salado and sides prepared by local chefs of Dutchtowne Deli and Hot Corner. You may choose the 5:00PM or 6:30PM serving and your choice of seating in Bea’s Kitchen or outside under the Watson Legal, P.C. lit tent. You may purchase alcohol from the Wine or Craft Beer Tents to enjoy with your dinner. Tickets are $35 for the Steak Dinner or $100 for the Steak Dinner and VIP Concert Ticket. Tickets are limited - we recommend purchasing online before the event.
Concert Featuring Rick Trevino

Close out the night with a live country music dance. Gordon Collier Band will open the show at 7:00PM followed by our headliner, Texas country legend Rick Trevino. Rick Trevino is a Grammy award-winning artist with seven studio albums, which charted fourteen singles on the Billboard Hot Country chart. Wine and beer will be available for purchase at the concert, along with bites from local food trucks. General Admission Tickets are $10, available online or at the door. Kids 12 and under are free. VIP Tickets are $75 and include exclusive front of stage table seating with wait staff and a private dance floor.
